Bunge Foundation and Senai Offer Free Baking and Pastry Course with 140 Spots in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Recife, Brasília, and Belo Horizonte. Training with Financial Aid and Connection to Formal Employment. Registrations Until February 23.

The Bunge Foundation is announcing 140 open spots for the free baking and pastry course in partnership with Senai, distributed among São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Recife, Brasília, and Belo Horizonte. The training is aimed at people aged 18 and older in situations of social vulnerability and includes financial aid, uniform, and educational materials during the four months of classes.

In addition, at the end of the program, participants will be connected to formal employment opportunities under CLT in the bakeries of the participating capitals, with salaries compatible with the market.

In a sector that generates billions and still faces a shortage of professionals, this initiative emerges as a concrete entry point for those seeking qualification and income.

The From Grain to Bread project reinforces the Bunge Foundation’s commitment to productive inclusion. In partnership with Senai, a national reference in professional education, the program expands access to technical training in a sector that remains vibrant.

The Brazilian baking industry generates more than 5 billion reais per year and recorded 1.3 million admissions in 2024. Nevertheless, there is still an estimated deficit of 140,000 open positions in bakeries.

Given this scenario, investing in training becomes a direct strategy for employability.

Who Can Register

The free baking and pastry course is aimed at individuals aged 18 or older who are in situations of social vulnerability.

The goal is to create real opportunities for those who wish to enter the formal job market or even start their own business in the future.

During the period from March to July 2026, students will have access to theoretical and practical classes at Senai units in each capital.

Throughout the training, they receive financial aid, uniform, and educational materials, allowing them to dedicate themselves to the course without additional costs.

After completion, participants will be directed to formal employment opportunities under CLT in bakeries in their respective capitals.

What the Course Teaches

The free baking and pastry course combines technique and personal development. Students learn everything from producing breads and doughs to pastry techniques, good food handling practices, and organizing productive processes.

In addition to practical training, the program includes socio-emotional development and career planning. This way, participants strengthen skills such as responsibility, teamwork, and behavior in the workplace.

Another highlight is the entrepreneurship track in partnership with Sebrae. For those dreaming of starting their own business, this stage offers strategic guidance on management and structuring small enterprises.
