SENAR Opens Over 500 Slots for Free Technical Courses in Mato Grosso do Sul
In Mato Grosso do Sul, SENAR/MS offers 500 slots in nine free technical courses, covering training such as Agribusiness, Livestock, Agriculture, Fruit Growing, Forestry, Animal Science, and Occupational Safety — the latter being the big news of the year, with 90 slots distributed between Campo Grande, Ivinhema, and Maracaju.
The courses from SENAR/MS are offered in both in-person and hybrid modes, allowing flexibility for students who seek to balance study and work routines.
The hybrid formations have centers in various cities of the state, including Anastácio, Dourados, Coxim, Chapadão do Sul, Sidrolândia, and Aparecida do Taboado.
Among the in-person options, the technical course in Livestock will be offered in Campo Grande, while the Forestry course will have classes in the capital and in Três Lagoas.
High Employability and Success Stories Characterize SENAR’s Courses
SENAR is nationally recognized for the quality of its free technical courses and its high employability rate.
According to Gustavo Cavalca, director of the Center of Excellence in Beef Cattle, about 80% of graduates find jobs shortly after completing the course.
“In Três Lagoas, for example, many students in the Forestry technical course are hired even during their internships, as the field is experiencing significant growth,” highlights Cavalca.
The results are also evident in the stories of those who transformed their own paths through technical education.
Gledson Gimenez, a graduate of the Livestock course, reports that the learning changed his professional destiny.
“When I joined, I had no hope of getting a job. But SENAR guided me, and today I provide services directly for the institution,” he said.
Another former student, Mirian Maria de Siqueira, who moved from the São Paulo coast to Mato Grosso do Sul, also found a new vocation in agribusiness.
“SENAR opened doors for me. I arrived without experience and today I leave trained and employed. It was a true life change,” she states.
SENAR Bahia Offers 630 Slots in Free Technical Courses
In Bahia, SENAR has opened 630 slots in free technical courses distributed across 11 teaching centers in various regions of the state.
The training covers Agriculture, Livestock, Fruit Growing, Occupational Safety, and Animal Science, with an average duration of two years.
The courses are predominantly offered in the hybrid format, where 80% of the classes are conducted online and 20% in-person.
This methodology allows for greater flexibility, especially for those living in rural areas or working in the field.
Among the highlights, the technical course in Animal Science is the new addition and will be available in-person in Feira de Santana.
The Livestock course is available at centers such as Feira de Santana, Itamaraju, Salvador, Miguel Calmon, and Itapetinga, while the Fruit Growing course will be offered in Gandu, Juazeiro, and Itapetinga.
In western Bahia, in Luís Eduardo Magalhães, SENAR offers training in Agriculture and Occupational Safety.
Who Can Enroll in SENAR’s Free Technical Courses?
The slots for SENAR’s free technical courses are intended for rural producers, family members, rural workers, and young people who have completed high school.
Any interested person can participate in the selection process, provided they meet the prerequisites for each course.
It is worth noting that students already enrolled in another SENAR technical course cannot enroll again.
The selection process includes documentation analysis and candidate classification, and the courses are 100% free, focusing on practical training and professional integration in agribusiness.
Registration Schedule and Start of Classes
The period for registration for SENAR’s free technical courses is open until November 24, 2025, on the official website https://etec.senar.org.br.
The candidate can consult the notices, check the participating centers, and fill out the online registration form.
The result of the selected candidates will be announced on December 11, followed by a challenge period on the same day.
The final list of approved candidates will be published on December 17, 2025, and enrollments must be completed between January 19 and 26, 2026. Classes will begin on February 23, 2026.
SENAR: National Reference in Education and Opportunities in the Field
With decades of operation, SENAR has established itself as one of the leading rural technical education institutions in the country, providing free and quality education to thousands of Brazilians.
Through its free technical courses, the service has expanded access to professional training in the field, directly contributing to the strengthening of agribusiness production chains.
In addition to professional qualification, SENAR’s courses encourage young people to stay in rural areas, generating jobs, income, and innovation in the agricultural sector.
Thus, the opening of more than 1,100 slots in free technical courses represents not only an educational opportunity but also a direct investment in the future of Brazilian agribusiness.
