In Brazil, Simec has steel mills in São Paulo, Minas Gerais, and Espírito Santo, including the Cariacica unit, which is the largest steel scrap recycler in Espírito Santo. With an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons of billets and 450,000 tons of various products, Simec generates 950 direct and indirect jobs in the region.
