This Award Took Place for the First Time During the 2023 SindExpo Brasil Balneário Camboriú Edition and Should Be Integrated into the Programming of Upcoming Events with This Brand
The organization of SindExpo Brasil innovated once again and brought to Balneário Camboriú the first 2023 Best Practices in Condominium Management Award. This year’s award was granted to the building manager Fábio Godoy for the excellence in the management of the Portal dos Bandeirantes Condominium, for creating tools for interaction with residents 24 hours a day, as well as the creation of the Resident Service (SAM), which operates daily for 12 hours. The condominium consists of 27 towers with 2,826 housing units, 15,607 residents, and a daily flow of 12,000 people, reaching 20,000 on weekends.
Ana Paula Franco, from Conectta Eventos, which owns the SindExpo Brasil brand, explains that the award was created to highlight good initiatives in Brazilian condominiums and to encourage more building managers to take bold initiatives that promote the well-being of the residents.
Ariane Padilha, the event curator, explains that the award was a recognition to the manager of the largest condominium in Brazil, who presented a case showing the many important works within the community. “He is practically a mayor within the condominium, which has over 15,000 residents,” she emphasizes.
Ariane says that from now on this award will start to be structured based on criteria that will be outlined by the organization, and a selection panel will also be created for the choice of the submitted cases. “Starting next year, there will be two awards, one for best practices and another for recognition.”
