Responsibilities and Duties of the Position:
- Receive, control, and replenish the medications on the vessel;
- Request the disposal of expired medications and infectious waste from the vessels;
- Keep the registry updated with information related to the health of each crew member on the vessel;
- Inspect the validity of materials and medications;
- Work in compliance with best practices, safety regulations, and procedures;
- Implement and ensure the adherence to good Hygiene and Health practices aboard the vessels;
- Supervise the Hospitality team to ensure that all methods and processes related to health and hygiene are being correctly followed;
- Carry out and monitor controls regarding food, such as temperatures, expiration dates, menu history, and storage;
- Supervise the receipt of the Ship’s Provisions regarding hygiene and health aspects.
