Smarcoat Engenharia de Revestimentos takes another step towards the future of its activities in the offshore sector. For the excellent services provided to Chevron Brasil on the FPSO Frade in 2017 and 22 hours worked without accidents with lost time, the company receives a certificate from Javier La Rosa, the operator's manager in the country. In the Campos Basin, Chevron is the operator of Campo Frade (51,74%), whose first oil dates back to 2009, and acts as a non-operator partner in the Papa-Terra (37,5%) and Maromba (30%) projects. all in partnership with Petrobras. At Frade, it also has a partnership with Frade Japan Petróleo Ltda. In the Ceará Basin, it is the operator of the CE-M715 block (50%), in partnership with the Colombian company Ecopetrol.
In the Downstream segment, Chevron is also one of the leaders in the manufacture and sale of lubricants, industrial greases and chemical additives in the Brazilian market.
