Mileto Tech, a new startup for electric vehicles that is emerging in Brazil, is going big in the sector, promising to deliver lightweight, affordable electric vehicles that can handle long distances at very accessible prices. According to the Mileto startup, its electric vehicles will be sold at prices well below those currently available on the market. Vehicles such as electric motorcycles will start at R$ 17,000, the electric mini truck will be available from R$ 98,000, and even popular electric cars will start at R$ 100,000.

According to Mileto, this good cost-benefit ratio was only achieved after more than 2 years of research and development on the vehicles. The startup considers itself an ‘autotech,’ which emerged with the goal of democratizing mobility in the country, for individuals, companies, and governments, in a sustainable way.
The Mileto startup factory, located in Porto Real, Rio de Janeiro, recently launched its first electric vehicles, intending to sell them to companies that wish to transform their fleets into sustainable and more economical ones.

There are at least 3 models of smart electric motorcycles and scooters available on the Mileto website that feature a 3000W motor with a maximum speed of 90 km/h and an excellent battery with a range of 70 km to 130 km. According to the company, this battery model has been in high demand in the industry as a more cost-effective and sustainable solution.
The electric scooter Raiden has a super modern and aggressive design, with a 3000W motor mounted in the rear wheel hub. Its maximum speed is 70 km/h and it is equipped with a 72V 20Ah lithium battery, providing a range of up to 130 km. Without the battery, the scooter weighs 70 kg.
Minato, the electric motorcycle, was designed in the minimoto style, similar to the Honda MSX125 Grom model. According to the startup, the electric motorcycle Minato is an urban model that has a 3000W motor, a maximum speed of 90 km/h, and a range of 90 km with its 72V 20Ah battery.
Finally, the electric motorcycle Rivia, which, despite also being designed in the minimoto style, is slightly larger, considered ‘robust and durable’ by the Mileto startup. Its 3000W motor has a speed of 90 km/h and a range of 130 km. Without the battery, it weighs 105 kg.
Electric Cars and Mini Trucks from Mileto

As mentioned throughout this article, the Mileto startup also announced that it will provide other electric vehicles, such as the mini truck Fortis model, which has a capacity of up to 800 kg of cargo, as well as zero CO2 emissions and noise, a range of up to 150 km and 5KW of power in the motor, superbly prepared for non-stop operations, aimed at uninterrupted work shifts, capable of operating on streets and avenues throughout Brazil, as well as in enclosed areas and limited traffic. The high-torque motors and gradual power distribution are perfect for urban areas.
Additionally, the Fortis has a version that charges with solar energy and the option of customizing a dump body or conventional box. Urban electric cars will come in two versions, the Mileto Duo and the Mileto Primis, which will be launched in mid-October, according to the startup.
