People interested in free online courses can use the Federal Supreme Court (STF) for that. This is because the Court announced the opening of registrations for its new series of free online courses.
Nowadays, specializing is essential. The problem is that many people do not have enough financial resources to do this. With this in mind, several institutions are creating free opportunities.
One of them is the STF, which reveals that it has courses available through a distance learning (EaD) platform. In total, these opportunities cover 14 different areas.
These areas include legal topics, Portuguese language, innovative leadership and citizenship, with topics such as responsible parenthood.

According to the Court, each course available has a thousand virtual places, and interested people can sign up for as many courses as they want, as long as they complete the modules within 90 days.
Course at STF has certification
An interesting fact is that students have the possibility of obtaining a certificate of completion of the course. However, to achieve this, it is necessary to reach 70 points when carrying out all the activities proposed in the courses.
Important informations
According to the STF, interested parties should pay attention when registering, as there are prerequisites for participating in classes.
In this sense, it is noteworthy that, among the courses with vacancies, there are some that are aimed at students and legal professionals, such as classes on the history and application of habeas corpus, and the use of artificial intelligence in the legal sector.
However, there are others that are open to the general public and cover, for example, courses on verbal agreement, use of backticks and use of commas, fundamental topics for those who want to improve their writing.
Many citizens impacted
According to the Court, the project, entitled STF Educa, began in 2020. Since then, more than 40 thousand citizens have been trained through courses offered by the Brazilian Supreme Court.
