Stellantis confirms the launch of the model in 2025 and the price should be around R$ 250 thousand
Leapmotor, a Chinese brand in which Stellantis is the majority shareholder, has just confirmed the arrival of the B10 electric SUV to Brazil. The model lands in second half of 2025, alongside the already announced C10, with the mission of compete for space among mid-size SUVs electric cars sold in the country, such as the BYD Yuan Plus and the Geely EX5, according to the website Auto Esporte.
Mid-size SUV with a focus on technology and value for money
Originally presented at the Paris Motor Show, the Leapmotor B10 began to be sold in China recently and is similar in size to the Jeep Compass, measuring 4,52 meters long and with a 2,74 meter wheelbase. The trunk holds 420 liters and the wheels are 18 inches. The automaker's proposal is to offer a Electric SUV with good interior space, embedded technology and competitive price compared to Chinese rivals.
Electric motorization and up to 460 km of autonomy
The Leapmotor B10 will be offered with rear electric motor with 218 hp and 24,5 kgfm of torque. There will be two battery options:
-

(values according to the CLTC cycle, used in China)
This configuration positions it as one of the models with the best cost-benefit in autonomy within its price range.
Estimated price and new strategy of Stellantis
Although the official price has not yet been released, the expectation is that the Leapmotor B10 be launched for around R$ 250 thousand, a value influenced by the reintroduction of import tax on electric vehicles from July. In China, the model costs between 110 and 140 yuan — the equivalent of R$87 to R$113 in direct conversion.
Stellantis is betting on Leapmotor as a new electrification front in Brazil, after limited experiences with Fiat 500e and Peugeot e-208. The strategy includes hybrid dealerships: some shared with brands such as Jeep and Fiat, others exclusive to the new brand.
In addition to the B10, the C10 SUV will also be launched here, including 100% electric and EREV versions, with a combustion engine used only as a generator, aimed at consumers looking for greater autonomy.
