A Petrobras launched, this Wednesday, the 17th, new opportunities for the acquisition of innovative solutions, with an investment of up to R$ 6 million, aimed at technology companies and startups. It is already the second notice for the Acquisition of Technology Solutions module that Petrobras launched this year, which totals R$27,2 million in investments made by the state-owned company.
In this edition, Petrobras will choose innovations in areas such as artificial intelligence, inspection and modeling and simulation technologies. Entries to participate in Petrobras' selection, which earmarked millionaire investments in the edition, will run until September 9 and the projects may receive up to R$ 1,6 million per proposal made by the companies for the development and testing of technology solutions in environments of production. Selection for technology solutions from Petrobras companies is open to national and international companies
The selection for solutions tech by Petrobras, which received a millionaire investment, is open to institutions across the country and also to countries abroad. The technology selection process, which involved a millionaire investment, includes a pre-assessment by a number of specialists, followed by a technical mentoring phase to improve the company's work plan and business model.
The next phase is a pitch day, in which the companies will present their proposals to a committee made up of Petrobras managers and specialists. In the evaluation made, criteria such as the business model, implementation of the solution at the end of the project, consistency and competitiveness of the proposal, impact and value generation, scalability and scope of the solution are taken into account.
The first selection in the Petrobras Solutions Acquisition module, which had millionaire investments, was posted in 2021 by Petrobras and about seven companies have already been chosen by the company, through the CPSI, Public Contract for Innovative Solutions, an instrument that brought speed to contracting processes and had rules incorporated into Petrobras' Bidding and Contracting Regulation.
Public Contract for Petrobras Innovative Technology Solutions will last for 12 months
Petrobras' CPSIs, with investments of R$ 6 million, will be valid for up to 12 months, which may be extended for another 12, for confirmation of technology solutions. After the innovation contract, the technology solution that has the best performance and that has shown to add value to Petrobras' business may be contracted for a period of two years, which may be extended for another two years, for scale supply.
Petrobras innovative solutions program already has 8 modules
Since its launch, the Petrobras Connections for Innovation Program already has eight different modules. Are they:

The state-owned company's program aims to accelerate innovation, placing the company together with the ecosystem, from startups, universities, Science and Technology Institutions (ICTs) to companies.
Petrobras currently has a portfolio of more than R$ 3 billion, and with more than 150 partners in the technology area, in the various forms of contracting and cooperation agreements.
