The Government of São Paulo has opened registrations for 1,760 spots in free courses from the Professional Qualification Schools, with classes scheduled to start on April 27 in units in the capital and Greater São Paulo. The initiative brings together training in areas with high demand for labor and seeks to expand access to professional training focused on entering the job market and generating income.
The training will be offered at the Citizenship Squares and the Citizenship Integration Centers, the CICs, through a partnership with the FAT Foundation and Senac. The action is conducted by the Social Fund of São Paulo and includes courses in the areas of gastronomy, beauty and wellness, fashion, technology, and services.
The free courses combine theoretical content and practical activities to develop skills applicable to daily professional life. The proposal is to increase the employability chances of participants and provide preparation focused on the demands of the job market.

Registrations for free courses continue until April 28
Registrations are free and can be made online at the program’s website, or in person at the units where the classes will be held. To confirm the enrollment, it is necessary to present an official photo ID, and the deadline for this cycle is until April 28.

The program’s classes are in-person and take place from Monday to Friday. The schedules are divided between morning periods, from 8 AM to 12 PM, and afternoon periods, from 1 PM to 5 PM.
The duration of the courses varies according to the chosen training. There are options with a workload distributed between one week and one month, depending on the proposal of each qualification offered at the participating units.
Units of the Citizenship Squares serve the capital and Greater São Paulo
Among the participating spaces are the Citizenship Squares of Paraisópolis, Guarulhos, and Osasco. The network also includes units in Hortolândia, Mogi das Cruzes, and Itaquaquecetuba.
The list also includes the Citizenship Squares of Itapevi, Mauá, and São Bernardo do Campo. Santo André and Embu das Artes are also part of the locations offering in-person classes this cycle.
In the São Paulo capital, the Paraisópolis Square operates at Rua da Independência, 445, in Paraisópolis. In Guarulhos, the unit is located at Rua Padre Dourindo de Oliveira Matias, 193, in Jardim Bonsucesso, while the one in Osasco is at Rua Colinas do Oeste, s/nº, in Bonança.
In Hortolândia, services are provided at Rua Congonhas, 505, in Jardim Nova América. In Mogi das Cruzes, the unit is located at Avenida Lourenço de Souza Franco, 1030, in Jundiapeba, and in Itaquaquecetuba, at Avenida Gonçalves Dias, 685, in Parque Residencial Marengo.
The other units of the Citizenship Squares are spread across municipalities in the metropolitan region. In Itapevi, the address is Rua Penélope, 351, in Parque Wey; in Mauá, Rua João Batista de Lima, 231, in Jardim Éden; and in São Bernardo do Campo, Rua Oneda, 995, in Planalto.
Santo André participates with a temporary support unit at Rua Carnaúba, s/nº, Vila Guiomar. In Embu das Artes, classes will be held at Avenida Rotary, 3,246, in Parque Industrial Ramos de Freitas.
CICs expand network of free courses in different regions
The Citizenship Integration Centers also form part of the structure that will host the free courses. Included are the CIC Oeste, CIC Guarulhos, and CIC Ferraz de Vasconcelos units, as well as CIC Feitiço da Vila and CIC Leste.
The network also includes CIC Sul, CIC Campinas, CIC Norte, CIC do Imigrante, and CIC Grajaú. Thus, the program distributes vacancies in different locations throughout the capital and Greater São Paulo.
The Professional Qualification Schools program is aimed at training and generating income for people in situations of social vulnerability. The courses have been organized to meet labor market demands and expand employment opportunities through in-person classes and practical training.
With 1,760 vacancies open, the free courses offered by the Government of São Paulo encompass training in various areas and services at several units in the capital and Greater São Paulo.
