With a Free Course That Is Transforming Lives, Neoenergia Coelba Offers a Unique Opportunity for Professional Training in the Cities of Bahia, Preparing Students for the Electricity Sector and Increasing Their Chances of Employment.

Aiming to Empower New Professionals and Transform Realities Through Technical Education, Neoenergia Coelba Opened 125 Slots for the Free Electricians’ School Course in Five Cities in Bahia.

The initiative, which is in partnership with Senai/BA, offers night professional training and prepares students to work directly with electrical networks.

Applications are open until May 15 and must be made exclusively through the company’s official website.

The cities included in this new phase of the program are Alagoinhas, Ilhéus, Porto Seguro, Remanso, and Lauro de Freitas, with 25 slots per municipality.

In Alagoinhas and Porto Seguro, the classes will be exclusively for women, an action that reinforces Neoenergia’s commitment to gender equity and encourages greater female presence in the historically male-dominated electricity sector.

Opportunity With Direct Social Impact

The Free Course Is a True Gateway for Those Seeking Qualification and Employment.

In addition to learning the technical fundamentals of the profession, participants who successfully complete the course will receive recognized professional certification and will be integrated into Neoenergia Coelba’s talent bank.

This means they can be called for future internal selections, with real chances of hiring.

Neoenergia Coelba’s Manager of Organizations and People, Taiane Conceição, highlights the importance of the project: “This is an initiative that combines technical education with real job opportunities, contributing to the social and economic development of our state.”

Requirements to Participate

To Secure One of the Slots, Interested Parties Must Have Completed High School, Be at Least 18 Years Old, and Have a Valid National Driver’s License (CNH), Class B or Higher.

The total workload of the course is 540 hours, with classes held at night, facilitating access for those who work during the day or have other responsibilities.

Additionally, women have guaranteed prominence in the classes of Alagoinhas and Porto Seguro, a strategic measure to promote gender inclusion in an area considered to have low female representation.

Neoenergia has also been increasing this participation in recent years through affirmative actions and diversity incentive policies.

History of Transformation in Bahia

Since Its Creation in 2019, Neoenergia Coelba’s Electricians’ School Has Trained More Than 2,000 Professionals Just in Bahia.

Of these, 370 were women — and 235 of them Have Already Been Hired by Neoenergia, proving the company’s commitment to the employability of those who go through the training.

According to company data, the overall employability rate of graduates exceeds 77%, placing the program among the most successful in the sector in Brazil.

More Than 80 Classes Have Already Been Completed in Different Regions of the State, reaching communities in situations of social vulnerability and promoting local development through technical knowledge.

Training That Changes Lives

The structure of the training offered is complete and designed to meet market demands.
During the course, students learn everything from the basic principles of electricity to the operation of distribution networks, focusing on safety, practice, and the use of real equipment.

Furthermore, the content is updated according to current technical standards and the guidelines of the Brazilian electricity sector.

The goal is for the student to leave the school ready to work professionally in public or private companies, or even to become self-employed as a qualified electrician.
