The Transnordestina, considered the largest railway construction project in Brazil currently underway, is an ambitious initiative that crosses three northeastern states and promises to revolutionize cargo transportation in the country. Started in 2006, the Transnordestina is one of the largest infrastructure enterprises in the country. With an updated budget of R$ 15.7 billion, the expectation is that the project will be completed by 2029.

Designed to reduce logistics costs and increase efficiency in the flow of agricultural and mineral products, such as iron and gypsum, the Transnordestina strengthens Brazilian competitiveness in the global market.
