The third way to prioritize trips with female drivers is through an automatic preference in the app.
This feature can be activated in the settings section of the Uber app.
Once activated, the app will prioritize matching the user with a female driver whenever possible.

This preference aims to enhance the comfort and safety of users during their trips.
Uber emphasizes that the feature is optional and can be turned off at any time.
The third alternative will be the permanent activation of the preference for female drivers.
The configuration can be done directly in the Uber app.
The process requires the following steps:
- Access the “Account” section;
- Select the “Settings” option;
- Tap on “Women’s Preferences”;
- Activate “Find trips when available”.
The system will prioritize female drivers for requests made in the UberX category after activation.
The configuration, however, does not guarantee that all rides will be conducted exclusively by women.
Availability will depend on the presence of partner drivers in the region and at the time of the request.
Expansion of Uber Mulher occurred gradually
Uber Mulher was initially made available in certain Brazilian cities.
The feature later reached other capitals during the expansion process conducted by the platform.
Uber confirmed, on June 30, 2026, that the service would start operating in all cities in the country.
The information about the national expansion was released by Uber itself, responsible for the transportation app.
Uber Conta Teens will also receive the preference
The preference for female drivers will also be available in the Uber Conta Teens mode.
The service is aimed at teenagers aged between 12 and 17 years.
The tool can also prioritize female drivers during requests made by this type of account.
Uber states that the measure is part of its commitment to enhance the comfort and safety offered by the platform.
The national expansion makes Uber Mulher accessible throughout Brazil.
The availability of trips, however, will continue to depend on the presence of female drivers in each location.
