Curricular Evaluation in the UEMG EAD Entrance Exam
The selection process for the UEMG 2026 EAD Entrance Exam is regulated by a specific notice and has a classificatory and eliminatory character.
Instead of an in-person or online test, the university uses a High School Curricular Evaluation.
In this stage, the final grades in Portuguese Language and Mathematics listed in the candidate’s academic history are considered.
The grade used for classification is the simple arithmetic average of these two curricular components.
The methodology seeks to value the student’s performance throughout high school, reducing logistical costs and transportation barriers.
The final classification follows the descending order of averages, according to the competition modality chosen at the time of registration, respecting the number of spots in each category as stated in the notice.
Candidates who have already completed high school or an equivalent course, as well as students who are completing this stage in 2025, may participate, provided they present proof of completion at the time of enrollment.
Spots, Courses, and Centers of the Entrance Exam
The 350 spots in the UEMG 2026 EAD Entrance Exam are distributed among three undergraduate courses, all with academic activities conducted remotely and mandatory in-person moments at the support centers.
The table below summarizes the offer:

In the case of Municipal Public Management, the spots are offered by the academic unit of Leopoldina, focusing on training professionals for local public administration.
The Sustainable Tourism Management course is linked to the Carangola unit and emphasizes topics such as tourism planning, sustainability, and regional development.
The Library Science course is offered by the Divinópolis unit and prepares students to work in libraries, documentation centers, and information units.
Inclusion and Reserved Spots Rules
Half of the spots in the UEMG 2026 EAD Entrance Exam are designated for inclusion policies.
According to state legislation and institutional norms, 50% of the spots are reserved for the PROCAN program and 5% for the Regional Inclusion modality, aimed at residents of Minas Gerais who completed high school entirely in public schools in the state.
Within PROCAN, the spots are distributed among different profiles, such as black candidates, quilombolas, indigenous individuals, gypsies, public school graduates, and people with disabilities, with a requirement for a low family income per capita in most categories.
Besides these modalities, the UEMG 2026 EAD Entrance Exam implements specific quotas for trans people, with 2 spots in each course and center, designated for candidates who self-declare as transgender women or men, travestis, or non-binary individuals.
The analysis of documents is conducted by an examining committee, with the possibility of appeal.
Candidates not classified within the reserved spots may be reassigned to the open competition, following the rules of the notice.
Who Can Register for the EAD 2026 Entrance Exam
Registration is open to those who have completed high school in any education network or to those who are finishing this stage in 2025.
In the case of graduating students, participation in the entrance exam depends on proof of completion at the time of enrollment.
Candidates competing under PROCAN or Regional Inclusion need to attach supporting documentation, such as income statements, public school records, and reports or specific documents for each category.
These documents undergo analysis and may be subject to appeal.
Those opting for Trans Quotas must complete the gender identity self-declaration and attach the required documents.
Registration is only confirmed after analysis and validation.
