UFMG offers free courses in the area of ​​digital education for those who want to boost their CV at the beginning of the year

Classes for the course offered by UFMG are in a hybrid format from January 20th to February 13th, with registrations until January 8th (tomorrow!)

Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) is now accepting applications for three free courses de short term in the area of ​​digital education. The training courses, offered by the Directorate of Distance Education and Digital Education (DEDD/UFMG), are part of the project DEDD Lab Summer Courses: Teacher Training for Digital Education, according to the Catraca Livre website.

Available courses offered at UFMG

The available courses are:

  • Design and Creation of Interactive Teaching Materials in Moodle
  • Creation and Editing of Multimedia Content: Videos and Podcasts
  • Exploring Moodle: Resources and Strategies to Enhance Your Courses

As vacancies are exclusive to UFMG professors, and each course offers eight places filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

How to enroll in free UFMG courses

The interested must register using the electronic form available until January 8th. You will be able to choose more than one course. Access the form to guarantee your participation.

Each course has a workload of 15 hours, distributed in four two-hour face-to-face meetings and asynchronous virtual activities. The courses, which are practical in nature, are aimed at preparing materials that teachers can use in their subjects. Participants who complete the courses will receive a certificate of hours.

Digital Education Laboratory

The first edition of the summer courses also marks the inauguration of the Digital Education Laboratory (LED), a space equipped to promote training activities. The laboratory has an 85-inch television, eight notebooks, a studio for recording video classes and a room for broadcasting web conferences., offering a modern infrastructure for the development of digital skills.
