The Classes of the Course Offered by UFMG Are in Hybrid Format from January 20 to February 13, with Enrollment Until January 8 (Tomorrow!)
The Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) is open for enrollment for three free courses in short duration in the field of digital education. The training, offered by the Distance Education and Digital Education Board (DEDD/UFMG), is part of the Summer Courses of the DEDD Laboratory: Teacher Training for Digital Education project, according to the Catraca Livre website.
Available Courses Offered at UFMG
The available courses are:
- Design and Creation of Interactive Educational Materials in Moodle
- Creation and Editing of Multimedia Content: Videos and Podcasts
- Exploring Moodle: Resources and Strategies to Enhance Your Courses
The spots are exclusive to UFMG professors, and each course offers eight spots filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

How to Register for Free Courses at UFMG
Interested parties must register through the electronic form available until January 8. It will be possible to choose more than one training. Access the form to ensure your participation.

Each course has a workload of 15 hours, distributed over four face-to-face meetings of two hours and asynchronous virtual activities. The courses, which are practical in nature, are aimed at preparing materials that teachers can use in their subjects. Participants who complete the courses will receive a certificate of hours.
Digital Education Laboratory
The first edition of the summer courses also marks the inauguration of the Digital Education Laboratory (LED), a space equipped to promote training actions. The laboratory includes an 85-inch television, eight laptops, a studio for recording video lessons, and a room for web conferencing, providing a modern infrastructure for the development of digital skills.
