Free course with salary, CLT contract, and practical experience in Vale’s operations brings together technical training, corporate benefits, and training by Senai in strategic industrial areas, with opportunities in Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais for candidates who meet the program’s requirements.

Vale has opened a new edition of the Professional Training Program, conducted in partnership with Senai, with free courses, CLT contract hiring, and monthly remuneration of up to R$ 2,225 during the training period.

The training lasts approximately 18 months and prepares participants for technical and operational roles in areas related to mining, rail logistics, ports, plants, maintenance, and equipment operation.

The positions are intended for individuals aged 18 or older, with complete high school education, regular or technical, and residing in the locations covered by the selection process.

The company also requires availability to fulfill an eight-hour daily workload, during business hours in the theoretical phase and later in shifts or schedules according to operational needs.

The program acts as one of Vale’s entry points for training professionals who wish to start a career in the industry.

According to the company, the training combines technical classes, advanced simulators, and practical training in operations, in a model known as on-the-job learning.

Free training at Vale with salary and CLT contract

One of the main differentiators of the Professional Training Program is the admission of selected candidates during the training itself.

In practice, participants do not just enter as students of a free course but as CLT contracted employees, with a monthly salary and access to corporate benefits provided for the journey.

The remuneration informed by Vale is up to R$ 2,225, in addition to medical, dental, and pharmaceutical assistance, meal allowance, meal voucher or on-site cafeteria, transportation voucher when applicable or transportation provided by the company, life insurance, and encouragement for physical activity.

Access to Apoiar, an employee assistance program offering legal, financial, and psychological support, is also provided.

During the practical phase, benefits may vary according to the unit of operation and the conditions of each location, in accordance with the program’s rules.

Senai Courses for Mining, Railway, Ports, and Maintenance

The training was structured to meet Vale’s operational demands in different industry sectors.

The areas covered include electrical, welding, mechanics, electromechanics, railway operation, port operation, and mobile equipment operation.

In the first months, students go through theoretical classes and activities conducted with the support of Senai, which is involved in industrial professional training.

Subsequently, the path advances to practical training, simulations, and direct experience at Vale’s units, always with the guidance of specialized professionals.

The proposal is to bring the participant closer to the real routine of operations.

Therefore, the training involves environments such as mines, plants, ports, and railways, depending on the chosen position, the city of operation, and the area for which the candidate is approved in the selection process.

Vacancies in Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais

The opportunities are distributed between Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais, states where Vale maintains significant operations for mining, logistics, railway, port, and industrial processing.

The selection considers the residence of candidates in the locations indicated for each vacancy.

In Espírito Santo, the in-person training covers units in Serra and Vitória, with activities mainly related to Greater Vitória, including operational areas connected to the railway and the Port of Tubarão.

In Minas Gerais, opportunities appear in municipalities such as Mariana, Santa Bárbara, São Gonçalo do Rio Abaixo, and Itabirito.

Vale stated, in institutional material, that the program aims to train talents aligned with business needs and expand opportunities in the communities where the company operates.

The company also claims that the initiative contributes to preparing professionals for essential functions in industrial operations.

Requirements to Participate in the Selection Process

To apply, it is necessary to be at least 18 years old, have completed high school, and be available to complete the theoretical and practical stages of the training.

The candidate also needs to reside in the location of the chosen vacancy, as the program prioritizes residents of regions close to operations.

In addition to these requirements, Vale informs that participants must be available to work in shifts or schedules during the practical stage.

Vaccination against yellow fever is also among the requirements disclosed for the selection.

Former participants of the Professional Training Program cannot apply again in this edition.

All stages of the selection process are eliminatory, and the company advises candidates to monitor the email registered on the platform, as official communications are sent through this channel.

Stages of the Professional Training Program Selection

The PFP Vale 2026 selection process takes place online in part of the stages, according to information released by the company.

The selection includes registration, Portuguese and mathematics assessments, dynamics with consultancy, panel with Vale leadership, psychological evaluation, medical exams, document submission, and admission.

The company informs that all candidates will receive feedback throughout the process, whether for continuation in the selection or termination of the application.

Therefore, the guidance is to monitor the platform where the registration was made and check the messages sent by Vale or the responsible consultancy.

Admissions are scheduled according to the timeline of each location and depend on approval in all phases.

After joining the program, the selected candidates will follow the learning path defined for the area and unit of operation.

How to Apply for the Vale Professional Training Program

Applications must be made exclusively online, on the official website of the Vale Professional Training Program, within the deadline informed by the company for this edition, from April 24 to June 30, 2026.

The candidate must access the program page, choose the opportunity compatible with their location, complete the registration, submit the requested data, and follow the next stages through the selection platform.
