Five Announcements for Graduate Courses in Public Safety, Both Lato and Stricto Sensu
In order to enhance and strengthen the performance of professionals in the Unified Public Safety System (SUSP), the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP) launched a set of initiatives in the educational field. Recently, on Wednesday (16), five announcements were made aimed at intensifying the qualification and training of these specialists, through the opening of 830 vacancies in graduate courses, both lato and stricto sensu, in collaboration with Federal Public Higher Education Institutions (IFES).
The execution of these courses materializes through the partnership between universities and the Education and Research Directorate of the National Public Security Secretariat (DEP/Senasp), in alignment with the National Network of Higher Studies in Public Safety (Renaesp).
Renaesp, recognized for its mission to provide continuous and specialized education to SUSP professionals, is committed to making graduate courses available for exceptional improvement and training.

Graduate Courses in Public Safety and Broad Areas of the Program
In addition to a stricto sensu program focused exclusively on Public Safety, with 30 available vacancies, the announcements cover four lato sensu graduate programs addressing crucial areas:
- Addressing Violence Against Women and Girls:
With an offering of 200 vacancies, this graduate program aims to reinforce professionals’ ability to handle complex and sensitive situations, seeking to create a safer environment for women and girls across the country.
- Addressing Environmental Crimes and Protecting Indigenous Peoples:
This program offers 200 vacancies for professionals interested in understanding and mitigating threats to the environment and the rights of indigenous peoples, emphasizing the importance of environmental and cultural protection.
- Support for Children and Adolescents in Situations of Violence:
Aiming to ensure a safe environment for the young population, this program grants 200 vacancies for professionals committed to improving approaches and responses to situations of violence involving children and adolescents.
- MBA in Management and Governance of Public Safety:
For those seeking a strategic perspective, the MBA offers 200 vacancies focused on acquiring managerial and governance skills, with the aim of optimizing the efficiency of public safety operations.
