New Public Competition at the Legislative Assembly of Piauí Will Offer 200 Positions, Including Analyst and Legislative Technician Positions
The Legislative Assembly of Piauí (Alepi) recently announced that it is planning a new public competition for the second half of 2023. The competition will offer a total of 200 positions, including legislative analyst positions, which require a higher education degree, and legislative technician positions, which require a secondary education level. The positions will be distributed among effective roles and a reserve list.
Unlike previous competitions, this one will have a broader approach, covering not only positions traditionally associated with legislative houses, such as Law and Accounting, but also specific roles to meet the needs of the Legislative Assembly of Piauí.
Among the higher education positions, there will be vacancies for civil engineers, electrical engineers, architects, political scientists, statisticians, journalists, and Libras interpreters. For candidates with a secondary education level, the positions in Piauí include construction technicians, electrical technicians, photojournalists, and occupational safety technicians, among others.

Steps of the Competition and Future Projections
Currently, Alepi is in the phase of selecting the company that will be responsible for conducting the competition. Once the company is hired, the announcement will be released, expected in September. According to Franzé Silva, president of the Legislative Assembly of Piauí, this is just the first step of the competition planned for the second half of 2023. He also mentioned that there are plans for a future competition aimed at the Legislative Police, with studies underway for its implementation in 2024.
Approval of the Salary and Position Plan
Last week, the Legislative Assembly of Piauí approved Bill No. 171/2023, which establishes the Salary, Career, and Position Plan for the positions filled through the public competition of the institution. Although the project is still awaiting the sanction of the state governor, Rafael Fonteles, the announcement of the competition will be prepared based on adjustments made to the salaries of the civil servants.
The new public competition by Alepi represents a significant opportunity for professionals from various fields who wish to enter the legislative sphere and contribute to the democratic processes of Piauí. With a diverse range of positions and specializations, this competition has the potential to attract varied talents and enrich the personnel of the institution even further.
