The Federal Institute of Espírito Santo (IFES) has announced the announcement of the Selection Process 151/2024 for the free undergraduate course in Veterinary Medicine, in-person mode. There are 20 spots available, divided between open competition and affirmative action, with a start planned for the first semester of 2025.

The free course aims to train highly qualified professionals in the field of Veterinary Medicine, with a practical and theoretical focus. The undergraduate program lasts five years and will be held in-person at the Itapina Campus, with up to 40% of activities offered remotely. The subjects include theoretical classes, laboratories, and field practices.

Distribution of Spots and Location of Offering

The total of 20 spots is divided between open competition and quota categories, including categories such as PPI (black, brown, and indigenous) and PcD (people with disabilities). The free course is offered exclusively at the Federal Institute, Itapina Campus, located in Colatina, Espírito Santo.

Selection Process and Criteria for Selection

The selection of candidates will be conducted through a writing exam in Portuguese. Half of the spots are reserved for affirmative action, in accordance with legislation. The evaluation criteria consider academic performance and, in some cases, proof of self-declaration for quota candidates.

Requirements for Registration

Candidates must have completed high school and possess a CPF, valid email address, and identification document. Moreover, for those opting for quota spots, proof of declared condition is required. Access to the internet and an electronic device are also essential for filling out the application form.

Acho ridículo banalizar um curso de medicina. Não se faz medicina com 40 por cento a distância , já se vê que não é sério nem é bom.
