How to Enroll in Free Courses at UFSM?
The list of free courses at the Federal University and Vacancy Relations is available on the official announcement page, organized by course level. The master’s in Education is one of the free courses at UFSM that offers the most vacancies, with 72. Registration for participation must be done exclusively on the University’s website by August 5.

The São Paulo government opens 1,700 spots in free courses in the capital and Greater São Paulo, with classes starting on April 27 and registrations available in person or online for areas with high demand in the job market.

Federal Institute will pay you R$ 300 for a free course: IFSP calls women for 320 in-person vacancies in 8 cities, with 60 hours of training and registrations open until April 21, 2026.

Get to Know UFSM
The Federal University of Santa Maria was the first federal university established in the interior, outside a Brazilian capital. This fact represented an important milestone in the process of decentralizing public university education in Brazil and contributed to Rio Grande do Sul becoming the first State in the Federation to have two federal universities.
In face-to-face education, it offers 131 undergraduate courses/qualifications, including 11 technology courses, 37 full degrees, and 83 bachelor’s degrees. Additionally, the institution offers 106 graduate courses, including 34 doctorates, 59 master’s degrees, 12 specializations, and a postdoctoral program.
