UFPE Opens 450 Positions for E-Learning Postgraduate Courses in Pernambuco

The Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) is accepting applications for free specialization courses. There are 450 positions available across various regions of Pernambuco, and applications can be submitted until August 10 through the Integrated System for Academic Activity Management (Sigaa) website.

The free specialization courses offered by the Federal University are in the distance learning mode (EaD) and cover the fields of Science and Mathematics, Spanish Language and Literature, and Educational Innovation and Trends. This initiative is an excellent opportunity for teachers and education managers to enhance their knowledge and advance their careers without additional costs.

Distribution of Positions

The positions are primarily intended for teachers of basic education in the public municipal and/or state and private networks (Group 1). If there are still available positions, they will be allocated to managers and other education professionals from the public municipal or state and private networks (Group 2). If any positions remain, they will be made available to candidates who do not fit into the previous two groups (Group 3), provided that 50% of the positions are filled by teachers and basic education professionals.

How to Apply for the Free Specialization Courses at Federal University of Pernambuco

To apply, you must hold a bachelor’s degree in areas accepted by the specializations, in addition to being a teacher of basic education in the public or private network, a manager, or another education professional. Activities will be conducted remotely, with in-person meetings according to the schedule of each course. [REGISTER HERE]

The results of the selection process will be announced on August 21 on the UFPE website, and classes are expected to begin on September 2. Please note that it is not possible to enroll in more than one location or change locations during the selection process or after approval.
