The Virtual University of the State of São Paulo (Univesp) has just launched a portal with an offer of 370 thousand places in over 40 free online (EAD) courses. This new site, named “Opportunity Now,” offers training in various areas, from tourism and logistics to technology and soft skills development.
Created to serve students, applicants, and anyone interested, the portal emerged from the collaboration between Univesp, private companies, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and public entities. This partnership was planned to enable professional training and expand the supply of qualifications through completely free online (EAD) courses.
Collaboration With Public And Private Organizations
The participating institutions publish their vacancies on the platform, allowing free access to training for a wide range of interested parties. Between July and September, companies and CSOs were able to register to offer courses on the portal, focusing on improving employability and providing new professional qualifications.
