Imminent Notice for the Casa da Moeda Contest: Opportunities for High School and Higher Education Levels in Various Areas.

The expectation for the launch of the notice for the new Casa da Moeda contest has increased significantly following the recent publication, on Tuesday (21), in the Official Federal Gazette, of the contract extract with Fundação Cesgranrio, which will be the organizing body of the selection.

This development is an important step, considering that the process of choosing the company responsible for conducting the public contest has been underway since August. With this movement, candidates interested in positions for high school and higher education levels can prepare for the upcoming stages of the contest.

List of Positions That Will Be Offered in the Casa da Moeda Contest

According to the document published by Casa da Moeda, the contract was signed on the 16th of this month, valid for a period of 24 months, the time necessary for all procedures of the public contest, including the publication of the notice, receipt of registrations, application of tests and disclosure of results.

Casa da Moeda Contest: Job Responsibilities

The security technician – corporate and asset security is responsible for controlling access and the movement of people, materials, and vehicles, operating control systems, internal safety and communication, monitoring the movement of people within the CMB premises, ensuring service posts are manned, acting preventively or reactively, ensuring business continuity while preserving order, through techniques, knowledge, and systems made available by CMB.

The security technician – fire prevention and suppression acts in emergency situations and or upon the activation of the company’s safety plan, providing fire combat instructions to employees from various departments, executing fire prevention responsibilities, monitoring activities involving accident risks or fire, safeguarding physical and asset security within the Organization.

Lastly, the production analyst – value design – engraving is responsible for developing historical-iconographic research for application in artistic projects, performing sculptural work, as well as executing modeling through manual and digital processes, illustrating for product layout compositions, operating digital matrix production systems, mastering mold and model making techniques, among others.

The last Casa da Moeda contest was held in 2012, with the Fundação Cesgranrio as the organizing body. At the time, 27 immediate vacancies were offered, and an additional 950 were available for the formation of a reserve list. The opportunities were distributed among positions in various specialties, for both high school and higher education levels.

According to data from the organizing body, 42,069 candidates registered. The most sought-after position was that of administrative technical assistant – Administrative Support, with 27,060 registrations. The least competitive position was that of CMB Analyst – Value Engraving, with 14 registrations.

Candidates were evaluated through two stages, with the first being objective tests of eliminatory and classificatory nature, and the second involving biopsychosocial qualifications and admission procedures.
