Remuneration and Benefits
First-year students of the Officer Training Course will receive a scholarship of R$2,630.83. In the second year, this amount increases to R$3,069.31, and in the third year, it peaks at R$3,507.78. Although the amounts to be received after the completion of the course have not yet been disclosed, they are expected to be compatible with the importance of the function and include additional benefits common in the military career.
Stages of the Contest
The firefighters’ contest in Bahia is divided into two phases, each with unique challenges aimed at thoroughly evaluating candidates.
First Phase: Objective and Discursive Tests
The objective tests, scheduled for February 16, 2025, will consist of 80 multiple-choice questions covering various areas of knowledge:
- Portuguese Language: 20 questions
- English Language: 5 questions
- Human and Natural Sciences: 25 questions
- Mathematics: 15 questions
- Information Technology: 5 questions
- Law: 10 questions
To pass, the candidate must achieve a minimum score of 60 points and not score zero in any subject.
Thus, the discursive test will require the elaboration of a written response on a topic from contemporary historical-cultural reality, evaluating clarity, originality, and mastery of standard Portuguese language norms.
Second Phase: Specific Evaluations
The second phase includes:
- Psychological Evaluation: Analysis of the candidate’s psychological profile.
- Physical Test: Assessment of physical ability.
- Medical/Dental Examination: Verification of candidates’ health.
- Social Investigation: Analysis of social and moral conduct.
- Document Verification: Confirmation of the validity of documents.
Firefighters Public Competition Registration Process
Registration for the Bahia Firefighters contest begins at 9 AM on December 5 and ends at 11:59 PM on January 5. Therefore, candidates must access the UNEB website to fill out the registration form and generate a bank slip of R$150. Payment must be made by January 6 to ensure the registration’s effectiveness.
However, for those in situations of economic vulnerability, there is an option to request a waiver of the registration fee, available for those registered in the Unified Cadastre of low-income families, with requests accepted on December 5 and 6.
