Stages of the Contest
The firefighters’ contest in Bahia is divided into two phases, each with unique challenges aimed at thoroughly evaluating candidates.
First Phase: Objective and Discursive Tests
The objective tests, scheduled for February 16, 2025, will consist of 80 multiple-choice questions covering various areas of knowledge:
- Portuguese Language: 20 questions
- English Language: 5 questions
- Human and Natural Sciences: 25 questions
- Mathematics: 15 questions
- Information Technology: 5 questions
- Law: 10 questions
To pass, the candidate must achieve a minimum score of 60 points and not score zero in any subject.
Thus, the discursive test will require the elaboration of a written response on a topic from contemporary historical-cultural reality, evaluating clarity, originality, and mastery of standard Portuguese language norms.
Second Phase: Specific Evaluations
The second phase includes:

Registration for the Bahia Firefighters contest begins at 9 AM on December 5 and ends at 11:59 PM on January 5. Therefore, candidates must access the UNEB website to fill out the registration form and generate a bank slip of R$150. Payment must be made by January 6 to ensure the registration’s effectiveness.
However, for those in situations of economic vulnerability, there is an option to request a waiver of the registration fee, available for those registered in the Unified Cadastre of low-income families, with requests accepted on December 5 and 6.
