Coruripe Plant Is Offering More Than 20 Job Openings for Professionals with Technical, High School, and Higher Education Backgrounds, for Minas and Alagoas

The Coruripe Plant, a producer of ethanol, sugar, and electric energy, present in the states of Alagoas with one unit and in Minas Gerais with five, is opening job vacancies in the state of Minas Gerais and in Alagoas. The openings are for operator, instrument technician, mechanic, assistant, intern, and more.

About the Plant

The Plant has five units, one in Alagoas, in the municipality of Coruripe, and four in Minas Gerais, in the cities of Iturama, Campo Florido, Limeira do Oeste, and Carneirinho. The crushing capacity is 14.5 tons of sugarcane, and in production, they manufacture 20 million bags of sugar, 470 million liters of ethanol, and 690 megawatts/hour of electric energy. They generate about 7,000 direct jobs and 35,000 indirect jobs.

Coruripe Plant Is Considered One of the Best Agribusiness Companies in the Country

The Coruripe Plant, one of the largest in the sugar-energy sector in the country, was named one of the best agribusiness companies by the Época Negócios 360 yearbook, produced in partnership with Fundação Dom Cabral.

The company received the highest ratings in three assessed criteria in the ranking: first place in sustainability, future vision, and people. The 2021 edition of Melhores da Dinheiro also ranked Coruripe among the top three in the sugar-energy sector in the country.
