About the Company:

A privately held company, whose development transformed a small sugar mill into one of the most important business corporations in Brazil. Usina has five units, one in Alagoas, in the municipality of Coruripe, and four in Minas Gerais, in the cities of Iturama, Campo Florido, Limeira do Oeste, and Carneirinho. The crushing capacity is 14.5 tons of sugarcane, and in production, they make 20 million sacks of sugar, 470 million liters of ethanol, and 690 megawatts/hour of electricity. They generate about 7,000 direct jobs and 35,000 indirect jobs.
