Mining Company Atlantic Nickel Has Job Openings in Various Positions to Work in Operations in Bahia

Atlantic Nickel operates in exploration, mining, processing, and marketing of nickel concentrate. Currently, the mining company has open job vacancies for the positions of analyst, planner, technician, geologist, geotechnical engineer, and more. All vacancies are located in Itagibá, Bahia.

About the Mining Company:

Atlantic Nickel has been engaged in exploration, mining, processing, and marketing of nickel concentrate since 2009. The produced sulfide nickel, after undergoing refining processes, is the main component in the manufacture of batteries that equip the growing electric vehicle market.

The operations at the Santa Rita Mine are concentrated in the municipality of Itagibá, Bahia, northeastern Brazil, about 370 kilometers from the capital Salvador (BA). The location is also strategic as it is only 140 kilometers from the Port of Ilhéus, a city in southern Bahia, well positioned for the export of the ore.

Communication and Sustainability Analyst

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Communication; Social Sciences; Psychology; Business Administration;
Intermediate English;
Advanced Office Suite.

Continuous Improvement Analyst

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related fields;
Experience with projects;
Knowledge in Power BI, Minitab;
Advanced Office Suite.

Integrated Planning and Risk Analyst

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields;

Intermediate/Advanced English;

Technical Assistant in Geology

Technical Course in Mining, Geology, or related fields;

Experience in sampling, QAQC, density tests, and sample dispatch is desirable.

Dispatcher Controller

Education: Technical in Mining, Technical in Geology, or related fields;
Knowledge of dispatch system software for mining;
Experience in Excel (advanced office);
Driver’s License “B”.

Geologist – Sr

Degree in Geology or Geological Engineering;
Active registration with the professional council (CREA);
Experience in geological description of core samples;
Experience with updating short, medium, and long-term geological models;
Knowledge in Geostatistics and Modeling is required.

Geotechnical Engineer – Sr

Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or Geological Engineering;
Specialization in Geotechnics and Hydrogeology is desirable;
Knowledge of topography and cartography techniques;
Experience with mafic-ultramafic rocks and sulfide nickel deposits is desirable.

Electro-electronic Technician I

Technical Course in: Electronics, Automation, Electrotechnics, Mechatronics, Electromechanics.
