Petrobras Reinforces Its Commitment to Broad Transparency of Its Divestment Projects and Portfolio Management in a Statement
Petrobras announced this morning (12/18) in a relevant fact that it has concluded the negotiation for the sale of 50% of BSBios Indústria e Comércio de Biodiesel Sul Brasil. The Executive Board of PBio approved the submission of the matter for deliberation by the competent Petrobras bodies. The transaction is still subject to approval by the General Assembly of PBio and the fulfillment of other usual precedents.
The amount already considers the deductions of net debt and other price adjustments. The value attributed to 100% of BSBios is R$ 1.23 billion.

BSBios owns two biodiesel plants: one in Passo Fundo (RS), with a production capacity of 414,000 m³/year, crushing capacity of 1.152 million tons/year, and storage of 120,000 tons of grains, 60,000 tons of meal, and 7.5 million m³ of biodiesel; and another located in Marialva (PR), with a production capacity of 414,000 m³/year and storage of 3,000 m³ of vegetable oil, 1,500 m³ of animal fat, and 4,500 m³ of biodiesel.
Petrobras Pays R$ 190 Million Over Settlement in Sete Brasil Arbitration
Petrobras announced in a relevant fact last night (12/17) that it will pay R$ 190 million to the Previ fund, from Banco do Brasil, to resolve the arbitral litigation regarding losses related to Sete Brasil
“The amount is reflected in the company’s financial statements for the 3rd quarter of 2020,” says Petrobras. “The company continues to defend its interests in ongoing processes,” it concludes.
The state-owned company paid R$ 190 million to Previ. According to Petrobras, the agreement extinguishes the litigation without acknowledgment of guilt or responsibility by either party, and its terms and the arbitral process are protected by confidentiality,” adds the statement.
