Furthermore, “The Chair” has a range of 12 kilometers. The heated seat was designed with the cold winters of Norway in mind, where the chair was created by the company, and was modeled after the seats found in the manufacturer’s electric cars.

Volkswagen Begins to Accept Orders for a New Generation of Electric Cars ID.3 With a One-Year Waiting Period
Speaking of Volkswagen’s electric car, the ID.3 model will undergo a makeover even before being presented to the public. The model will be available in the second quarter of 2023; however, customers can already place orders for the model right now. According to Volkswagen, the waiting time is about a year.
Like the highly technological Volkswagen office chair, the new ID.3 does not disappoint. The model comes pre-loaded with cutting-edge software that not only enhances the overall system speed but is also capable of receiving wireless software updates. A screen with a diagonal of 12 inches (30.5 cm), a retractable trunk floor.
A central console with two cup holders is now included as part of the revised standard equipment package.
The ID.3 is manufactured at the Zwickau and Dresden facilities, both located in Germany. The manufacturing network, however, will be extended to include Volkswagen’s major facility in Wolfsburg throughout 2023. This is to accommodate the significant number of orders for the tiny fully electric vehicle.
