Webmotors, In Partnership With Share RH, Is Offering Free Online Programming Courses for Professionals Over 50 Who Want to Learn to Code
Webmotors has a proposal to train, offer opportunities, and empower professionals over 50 in the technology sector. The program aimed at those planning to learn coding is called Classics 50+, a new program of free courses created by Webmotors in partnership with Share RH. The free programming courses have a duration of 84 hours and will be conducted online, from February 14 to March 19, from 7 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays from 9 AM to 4 PM. The track focuses on training in C# technology for software development.

According to Webmotors’ HR head, Cibele Diniz, the company’s intention is to support this audience in transitioning to a new career. Participants who want to learn to program and demonstrate an affinity for programming activities and have at least 75% attendance in classes will have the chance to participate in a selection process to work at Webmotors, with hiring planned for the first half of April.
Enrollment for the free courses will be open until February 5. After registration, online tests focusing on the chosen track’s language and programming logic will be sent.

On February 11, the selected individuals for the free courses at Webmotors will be announced. To participate in the program, candidates planning to learn to code should have good logical reasoning, broadband internet, and a computer to attend classes.

During the registration process, it will be necessary to attach a resume and fill in information such as Full Name, Email, Phone, Gender, Date of Birth, Education, Address, Work History, Academic Background, among others.
Other Opportunities for Those Planning to Learn to Code
In addition to Webmotors, other entities are offering free courses, such as Ibmec São Paulo, which is providing short-term online opportunities in IT, Finance, and Marketing.
Those who complete the courses, which will take place from February 4 to 5, will receive a certificate. The opportunities offered are for areas such as: Portfolio Construction and Risk Management: Maximizing Your Investment Results.
Innovation and Technologies
Stone is also offering limited spots for the free EAD course “/code[s]” which is aimed at anyone looking to enter the IT sector and learn more about the Python programming language.
In total, 200 spots are being offered. Besides the training, students who stand out will also have the chance to join the Stone team. The free course will be conducted live and will last four months, with classes scheduled to begin on February 15.
