A Peugeot The Brazilian automaker has announced the prices for the 2025 line of the Peugeot 208 compact hatchback, manufactured in Argentina, at the El Palomar plant. The car comes with updates in terms of style, mechanics and portfolio, with prices starting at R$77. The new models stand out for their more affordable price compared to the 2024 line, with a reduction of up to R$15 in prices, depending on the version. This means that the new 208 is being offered with prices similar to those of 2023, before the latest increases.

Peugeot 2025 208 model year versions and prices

The 2025 Peugeot 208 range features four versions, with different configurations and equipment packages.

The entry-level version, called Peugeot 208 Active 1.0 MT, costs R$76.999. This version comes equipped with digital air conditioning, Hill Assist system (hill start assistant), electric windows and four airbags, items that increase the model's comfort and safety.

The second version, the Peugeot 208 Style 1.0 MT, is priced at R$88.999 and adds Full LED headlights, a 10,3-inch multimedia center, a rear camera and a panoramic roof, providing more technology and entertainment features to the driver.

The intermediate version, the Peugeot 208 Allure Turbo 200 CVT, costs R$98.990.

It is the first in the range to feature the Stellantis T200 engine, a 1.0 turbo three-cylinder that generates 130 hp and 20,4 kgfm of torque, combined with the CVT (continuously variable transmission) gearbox, which simulates seven gears.

This engine offers a sportier and more agile performance for those looking for more power.

Finally, the top of the line is the Peugeot 208 GT Turbo 200 CV, priced at R$114.990.

In addition to the T200 engine, this version features a sportier look and includes six airbags, as well as driver assistance features (ADAS), such as collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assistant and a rear camera with 180° vision.

Revamped design and portfolio changes

In terms of design, the Peugeot 208 2025 features some subtle updates, bringing the model in line with the French brand's most current design language.

Among the new features are small changes to the shape of the headlights and taillights, both in LED, as well as a new front grille.

Another change is the replacement of the old “charging” lion emblem with the traditional Peugeot shield, which highlights the silhouette of the feline’s head, bringing a more classic touch to the look.

On the side, the model It has 17-inch diamond-cut wheels, with glossy black details on the wheel arches, highlighting the modern and sporty look.

These changes reinforce the proposal of a car that combines style, performance and economy.

Another major change was mechanical: Peugeot decided to retire the old 1.6 EC5 engine, which no longer met the current consumption and pollutant emissions requirements of Inmetro and Proconve L7.

This engine, which was still present in the Active model at the beginning of 2024, no longer appears in the 2025 line portfolio.

Now, all versions use the Stellantis 1.0 engine, whether the naturally aspirated Firefly with 71/75 hp and 10/10,7 kgfm (petrol/ethanol), or the T200 turbo engine.

According to Peugeot, the 208 GT Turbo accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9,4 seconds, which reinforces the sporty proposal of the most powerful version in the line.

Technology and connectivity in the cabin

The interior of the Peugeot 208 2025 continues to offer what the brand calls i-Cockpit, a design concept that includes a smaller steering wheel, positioned lower than the industry standard, and a raised instrument panel, which simulates a head-up display.

It combination promises a more immersive driving experience, allowing the driver to view all information without taking their eyes off the road.

In terms of technology, the 208 2025 offers a 10-inch multimedia center, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with wireless connection, as well as Bluetooth and a 15 W induction cell phone charger.

These features ensure practicality and connectivity for users.

In the Allure and GT versions, there is also digital and automatic air conditioning, a keyless entry system, which allows you to unlock the car without needing the key, and illuminated vanity mirrors. These items reinforce comfort and focus on convenience in daily use.

Peugeot 208 highlights for consumers

Agreement car It is also an element that attracts buyers, and Peugeot maintains in the 2025 line the already known colors, such as Banquise White, Nacré White, Nera Pearl Black and Artense Gray, in addition to the new Selenium Gray color.

There is no information about the additional cost for colors, but in the 2024 line, they cost R$1.950, except for black.

The reintroduction of the combustion GT version, which was previously exclusive to the electric configuration (e-208 GT), marks a new phase for the 2025 Peugeot 208 range.

As a result, the Griffe configuration, traditionally associated with refinement, was temporarily discontinued.

With these adjustments to the portfolio, the Peugeot 208 2025 can consolidate its position in the Brazilian market, offering a combination of updated design, technology and more competitive prices.
