Meet the Mijia Timer Gas Stove 3 Pro, the new smart stove from Xiaomi with titanium sensor and automatic shut-off. Technology and savings for your kitchen.
Safety in home kitchens has received a technological boost with the launch of the Mijia Timer Gas Stove 3 Pro. The new Xiaomi smart stove hits the market with the unprecedented ability to cut off the gas supply and extinguish the flames automatically if it detects that food is burning or that the pot is empty.
Initially available on the YouPin platform in China, the appliance uses titanium alloy sensors to monitor the temperature in real-time, aiming to drastically reduce the risk of residential fires caused by forgetfulness. The device focuses not only on accident prevention but also on everyday practicality.
With an independent timing system for each burner, the user can program the exact cooking time, allowing the stove to finish cooking on its own while other tasks are carried out. In this way, the Chinese brand reinforces its connected home ecosystem, integrating the appliance with the Mi Home app.

New stove from Xiaomi: Financial savings and high energy efficiency
One of the most striking points of this new Xiaomi smart stove is its potential for cost reduction for the consumer.
The appliance is designed to achieve a thermal efficiency of 70%, placing it among the most economical models in the world.

With a power of 5,200 W, the device optimizes gas combustion, preventing fuel waste during meal preparation.
According to the manufacturer’s projections, the efficiency of the Mijia Timer Gas Stove 3 Pro can generate direct benefits for the user’s wallet:
- Accumulated savings: Estimated reduction of ¥ 1,680 (approximately R$ 1,228) in gas expenses over eight years.
- Waste reduction: Precise flame control prevents excessive consumption during long cooking times.
Mi Home Monitoring and Automation Technology
The secret of the device’s intelligence lies in a high-sensitivity titanium probe located in the right burner.
This component constantly reads the heat at the base of the pot and immediately cuts off the gas upon detecting a dangerous overheating.

Additionally, when paired with a compatible Xiaomi hood, the system sends notifications to the owner’s phone if anything unusual is detected, such as a flame that goes out due to a draft.
It is worth noting that the device’s timer allows adjustments from 1 to 180 minutes. However, the manufacturer issues an important warning: for the safety sensor to work accurately, it is necessary to use metal pots.
Ceramic or glass containers can insulate heat and prevent the titanium probe from accurately reading the temperature.
Functional Design and Launch Price
In terms of visuals, Xiaomi opted for practicality. The new Xiaomi smart stove features an AG glass panel, which is specially treated to avoid retaining fingerprints, making daily cleaning easier.
Furthermore, the chassis is adjustable, allowing it to be installed on countertops that already have cutouts for old stoves without the need for structural renovations in the kitchen.
Currently, the Mijia Timer Gas Stove 3 Pro is being sold at a promotional price of ¥ 1,899 (approximately R$ 1,389).
Although there is still no information about official sales in Brazil, the launch signals an important change in how we interact with fire in the kitchen, transforming a mechanical act into a task monitored by artificial intelligence.
