Xiaomi launched the SU7, its first electric car, with a range of 800 km and a maximum speed of 265 km/h. Equipped with the HyperOS operating system and the innovative Xiaomi Pilot, the two models, SU7 and SU7 Max, promise to revolutionize the automotive market.
Xiaomi's long-awaited foray into the sector automotive became a reality with the launch of the Xiaomi SU7, the Chinese brand's first electric car. With a unique sporty design, the SU7 not only incorporates the innovative technology that has made Xiaomi a leader in electronic devices, but also redefines the standards of performance and autonomy.

Xiaomi's billion-dollar investment in its first electric car
The Xiaomi SU7 appears as an important milestone after Xiaomi's interest in the automotive sector was confirmed in 2021, when the company announced an investment of up to US$10 billion to enter the electric vehicle market.
The SU7 and SU7 Max are the first fruits of this commitment, featuring not only an elegant design, but also embedded intelligence that reflects Xiaomi's expertise in technology.

Electric vehicle with an innovative operating system
The technological heart of the SU7 is its HyperOS operating system, the same one used in Xiaomi mobile devices.
This integration provides a synergistic user experience, connecting the car with Xiaomi smartphones and smart home devices.
With a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processor powering the onboard computer, the SU7 offers not only performance but also a flexible platform for future upgrades.
Intelligence and connectivity
SU7's intelligence also extends to interaction with users.
Its 16,1-inch digital dashboard between the driver and passenger seats makes it easy to control functions from media playback to seat adjustment.
Additionally, innovation continues to the rear of the front seats, where a magnetic connector with 22,5-watt recharge allows rear seat occupants to connect up to two tablets for entertainment while traveling.
Xiaomi Pilot: The revolution in autonomous navigation
The highlight of the launch is Xiaomi Pilot, an autonomous navigation system powered by the Nvidia Drive Orin processor.
Equipped with a variety of external sensors to track the environment, Xiaomi aims to complete autonomous driving tests in 100 Chinese cities by the end of 2024, according to information from Engadget.
Furthermore, the system is prepared to operate in different weather conditions, including rainy or snowy days, demonstrating its robustness and reliability.
Two variants, one powerful experience
The SU7 line has two variants: the conventional and the Max.
Both are powered by the HyperEngine engine, providing an impressive top speed of 265 km/h and up to 21 thousand revolutions per minute (RPM).
This spin rate stands out compared to competitors like the Tesla Model S Plaid and Porsche Taycan Turbo, reinforcing Xiaomi's commitment to exceptional performance.
Autonomy is also a strong point of the SU7.
While the SU7 Max, with dual motor and 101 kWh battery, offers an incredible range of 800 km, the SU7, with a single motor and 73,6 kWh battery, is not left behind, reaching up to 668 km on a single charge.
Fast charging is another notable feature, allowing the driver to drive up to 220 km with just five minutes of charging.
