Smart technology and high flow rate place Xiaomi’s new vertical model among the most striking launches of the Mijia line, focusing on large spaces, energy saving, connected operation, and automatic adjustments during daily use.

On March 24, 2026, Xiaomi began sales of the Mijia Air Conditioning Giant Power Saving Pro Soft Wind Version Vertical Large 3 HP, a vertical air conditioner model aimed at large spaces and announced on JD.com for 5,499 yuan.

With government subsidies applied in some regions, the reported price drops to 4,655.45 yuan, according to a publication attributed to the Chinese portal IT之家, which also detailed the main technical features of the equipment.

The main appeal of the device lies in the use of artificial intelligence to adjust its operation according to the needs of the environment, reducing waste during operation without relying solely on manual user commands.

According to the manufacturer, the Mijia Lingyun Energy Saving algorithm can reduce consumption by up to 45%, a figure presented as an estimate linked to the automatic control of the system’s workload.

Xiaomi Mijia bets on larger spaces

Designed for living rooms and large bedrooms, the equipment combines a vertical structure, wide air outlet, and reinforced ventilation set, with a proposal aimed at users who need to air-condition larger areas more quickly.

In the disclosed specifications, the device features an air outlet of 181 mm and a declared flow rate of up to 1,760 m³/h, a figure that places the flow rate among the main differentials of the model.

Although it focuses on a high volume of air, the reported noise starts at 42 dB(A), a relevant point for a floor device used in living areas, rest, or prolonged stay.

Within the Mijia line, Xiaomi positions the product as a large vertical air conditioner, with power announced as Large 3 HP and a proposal superior to smaller wall models.

AI adjusts performance and consumption

Among the efficiency features, the Mijia Lingyun algorithm appears as the main AI-based savings solution, as it monitors the operational load and adapts performance according to the thermal demand of the environment.

When maximum power is not needed, the system reduces operation to avoid excessive consumption, maintaining air conditioning within the automatic adjustment logic presented by the manufacturer.

The promise of savings reaches up to 45%, but this figure should be read as an estimate released by Xiaomi, as the company itself states that its numbers usually come from laboratory tests.

Another highlight is the energy efficiency index APF 5.31, combined with the estimated annual savings of 884 kWh and an approximate reduction of 530 yuan on the electricity bill.

This combination helps explain the model’s positioning as a more efficient alternative within the Mijia line, especially for those seeking strong air conditioning without sacrificing consumption control.

Air Conditioner Enters the Mijia Ecosystem

In addition to energy efficiency, the air conditioner brings connectivity features linked to Xiaomi’s smart home ecosystem, expanding the device’s role beyond traditional indoor cooling.

The model offers support for OTA updates, which allow for receiving software improvements, and can also be integrated into the Mijia ecosystem, used by the brand to connect different home products.

The released specifications also mention compatibility with Xiaomi Pengpai Smart Connectivity, a proprietary integration system that allows the device to be linked to other smart home devices.

With this support, the new Mijia can participate in automated routines, combined commands, and interactions with other connected equipment, as long as they are within Xiaomi’s compatible ecosystem.

More than just turning on, off, and adjusting temperature, the device operates as a connected device that receives software, interprets usage demand, and communicates with other smart products.

Price Depends on Region and Subsidies

On JD.com, the full announced price for the new Xiaomi air conditioner is 5,499 yuan, while the price with government subsidies in some regions drops to 4,655.45 yuan.

This difference indicates that the final cost may vary according to local policies, availability of the benefit, and sales conditions, without these values necessarily representing the price in other markets.

On its official page, Xiaomi maintains information about the Mijia Giant Power Saving Pro Vertical Large 3 HP Super Level Energy Efficiency line, identified as version 2025.

Services associated with the product also appear, such as exchange within 15 days and brand support channels, under the conditions informed by Xiaomi itself for the market in which the device is sold.

The availability mentioned at the launch is linked to JD.com, without a secure confirmation of official sale in Brazil, which prevents directly converting prices in yuan to a national estimate.

For this reason, potential import costs, taxes, electrical adaptation, technical assistance, and local warranty are not included in the values disclosed for the Chinese market.

Technology changes the logic of air conditioning

With the new model, Xiaomi reinforces a trend of air conditioning devices that are less dependent on manual adjustments and more integrated into intelligent control systems, connectivity, and remote updates.

In the case of Mijia, the proposal includes airflow of 1,760 m³/h, APF efficiency of 5.31, estimated savings of 884 kWh per year, and integration into the Mijia ecosystem.

The brand’s bet is to transform the air conditioner into a connected device, capable of automatically adjusting consumption and receiving software improvements throughout its use.

Within the presented line, this set differentiates the model not only by its ability to cool large spaces but by the combination of power, energy efficiency, and integration with smart home systems.
