Yamaha XSR125 Legacy Delivers 15 Hp Engine, Up to 47 Km/L Fuel Consumption, 470 Km Range, and Retro Style with Modern Technology.

Yamaha hit the mark by launching the XSR125 Legacy, a motorcycle that combines the charm of retro bikes with the technology that urban riders demand. Part of the Sport Heritage family, it draws inspiration from the past but includes features that place it firmly in the present: efficient engine, low consumption, premium design, and safety electronics.

With a lightweight, economical, and stylish setup, the XSR125 Legacy shows that you don’t need a big bike to ride with personality and exclusivity.

Compact Engine, But Full of Vitality

The XSR125 Legacy is equipped with a 124.7 cm³ single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine, with double overhead camshaft (DOHC) and Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system, which enhances power delivery at different RPMs.

This engine delivers:

  • Maximum Power: 11 kW (15 hp) at 10,000 rpm
  • Maximum Torque: 11.5 Nm at 8,000 rpm
  • Transmission: 6-speed manual gearbox

It’s a configuration that favors both urban use, with quick responses in traffic, and highway riding, with a smooth and stable experience.

Exemplary Consumption and Generous Range

One of the XSR125 Legacy’s major advantages is its energy efficiency. The official average consumption is 2.1 L/100 km, which translates to about 47.6 km/l.

With a tank capacity of 10 liters, its range exceeds 470 km, which is uncommon in bikes of this segment and makes it extremely practical for those seeking mobility with low fuel costs.

Retro Design with Premium DNA

The Sport Heritage line is characterized by its neo retro style, and the XSR125 Legacy embodies this concept well. The details make it one of the most stylish 125 cc bikes on the market:

  • Alloy wheels with metallic spokes in golden finish;
  • Flat seat with retro stitching, evoking the aesthetics of the classics from the 80s;
  • Round LED headlight, combining tradition and modernity;
  • Minimalist finish and premium paint, with graphics inspired by the “heritage” style.

It’s a bike that attracts both beginners and enthusiasts who value the classic style combined with modernity.

Modern Technology for Everyday Use

Despite its vintage appeal, the XSR125 Legacy does not compromise on technology. The model comes equipped with:

  • Compact and functional LCD digital display;
  • Full LED lighting (headlight, taillight, and turn signals);
  • Disc brakes: 267 mm front and 220 mm rear, with ABS as standard;
  • 37 mm inverted front suspension (USD) and adjustable mono-shock rear suspension;
  • Wide tires (110/70 R17 front and 140/70 R17 rear), enhancing the balance between agility and stability.

This setup provides safety and comfort for both urban commutes and short highway trips.

Lightweight, Accessible, and Easy to Ride

At 140 kg in ready-to-ride condition, the XSR125 Legacy is an extremely lightweight and easy-to-handle motorcycle. The seat height of 815 mm ensures comfortable ergonomics without compromising accessibility.

It’s an ideal bike for those starting in motorcycling or for anyone looking for a practical alternative, but with more style than conventional scooters or utilitarian bikes.

A 125 CC That Delivers Much More

The Yamaha XSR125 Legacy proves that engine displacement is not synonymous with simplicity. It features a 15 hp engine with a 6-speed gearbox, consumption of nearly 48 km/l, a range of 470 km, and a premium design that recalls the essence of Yamaha’s classics.

It’s a bike made for those seeking economy and personality without sacrificing the technology and reliability that the Japanese brand has always provided.
