The announcement of the competition anticipates 1,918 vacancies, however distributed among several positions, among the opportunities, the following stand out:
- Educational Coordinator: Responsible for guiding and coordinating pedagogical activities in municipal schools.
- Educational Advisor: Works on developing projects and actions for improving teaching.
- School Secretary: Develops administrative activities and support for school management.
- Educational Supervisor: Responsible for monitoring and evaluating the work of teachers.
- Specialized Teacher in Special Education: Works with students with special needs.
- Sign Language Instructor and Sign Language Interpreter: Contributes to the inclusion of people with hearing disabilities.

Compensation and Workload
Initial earnings range between R$ 1,638.33 and R$ 2,280.86, depending on the chosen career. However, the weekly workload may range from 15 to 40 hours. Furthermore, this flexibility allows candidates to choose the workload that best suits their needs.
Steps of the Competition
The selection process will consist of up to three stages:
- Objective Tests (Multiple Choice): Elimination and classification evaluation with new questions about specific knowledge, educational foundations, Portuguese language, statute of municipal public employees of Itaboraí, and local history.
- Discursive Tests (Essay): Candidates will need to produce a dissertative text in Portuguese related to the field of education.
- Title Evaluation (Academic Background): Titles such as postgraduate, master’s, and doctorate will be considered.
