The Federal Institute of Paraná (IFPR) opened last Monday (04/08) a new selection process for the 2026 academic year, offering 5.2 thousand spots spread across dozens of cities in the state. There are options for those who completed the 9th grade, for those who have already finished high school and are looking for free training. Integrated Technical Courses: High School And Technical Education Together

This is the ideal option for those who have completed the 9th grade of elementary school and want to take high school along with a vocational technical course. The preliminary results of the selection processes are scheduled for November 10, 2025, and classes are planned to start in the 2026 academic year.

If you have already completed high school and want to qualify for the job market with a free technical course, IFPR also offers this option.

At the campuses of Curitiba and Assis Chateaubriand, the selection will be based on academic records. In other cities, the criterion will be a public electronic lottery.
