Welding Area Accounts for 60% of Job Openings
One of the areas with the highest demand in the company is welding, which accounts for 60% of the current job openings. For this sector, Librelato has developed, in partnership with the City Hall of Içara and the Senai (National Service of Industrial Learning), a free technical training program, with new classes open every year.
The engineer from Rio Grande do Sul, Charlie Oliveira, is a professional who started at Librelato as a welder. Today he works in the Process Engineering department. When interviewed for the welder position, something caught his attention: the length of time people stay at Librelato, which is generally over ten years, with most having a history of professional growth. Later on, he realized that the CEO, José Carlos Sprícigo, is the main example, having dedicated more than four decades to Librelato.

Female Participation in the Industry Grew 14.3% in 20 Years
The profession of welder at Librelato is an opportunity open to all. Thus, the company aims to reduce gender disparities. In the first edition of the free welding course dedicated exclusively to women aged 18 to 45, held this year, a total of 20 professionals were trained to competently work with welding processes and equipment.
This initiative, which is part of the company’s ESG policies, contributes not only to female participation in the industrial area but also to the inclusion of women in the job market in general.

The available positions are for in-person work in Santa Catarina. Twenty of them are open at the Librelato headquarters, and the others are distributed among the units in Criciúma and Içara.
