The city of Mossoró, in Rio Grande do Norte, will be the stage for ABG Mineração's newest cement factory, which announced investment in the region due to the high potential for this production, and highlighted the job opportunities that will come with the works

The city hall of Mossoró, Rio Grande do Norte, met with businessmen from the company ABG Mineração last Friday (13/05), to sign a project in the region. In this way, the companhia will make an investment in the construction of a cement factory in the city and should provide several job opportunities for workers who work in the industrial segment of works and civil construction.

ABG Mineração's new cement factory will be installed in the municipality of Mossoró and will receive heavy investment for the development of the project 

The state of Rio Grande do Norte is highly known in the Brazilian market due to its mineral and raw material reserves for various industry segments, such as civil construction. Thus, the company ABG Mineração verified a high potential for cement production in the municipality of Mossoró and announced its new investment in the region, a factory dedicated to the product. The company also highlighted the main objectives with the undertaking, profitability and job creation. 

ABG Mineração also confirmed that the geographic analysis team was quite surprised by the high potential for cement production that the region has. And, in addition, he stated that he will be taking even more entrepreneurs who are thinking of applying an investment in the region after the installation of the company's new factory. This happens because the municipality of Mossoró offers a good installation infrastructure for these companies, especially in terms of energy, and has become an attractive region for new ventures. 

Thus, one of the companies that is already eyeing a new investment in the city after the installation of the ABG Mineração cement plant is Sinoma Brasil. The company highlighted that it already has a project in the city, together with the SEDU Group, but that it personally visited the region to verify the potential for a new undertaking in the coming months, with a focus on the energy area of ​​the city. And, with the arrival of ABG Mineração and a possible investment by Sinoma Brasil, Mossoró is heading towards even greater socioeconomic development in the coming years.

Mossoró City Hall celebrates ABG Mineração's investment in the new cement factory and highlights job creation for residents

The main objective of ABG Mineração with the investment in the Potiguar city is, without a doubt, to take advantage of the potential for growth in production and even greater profitability. However, the company's business will also bring a series of benefits to the city, the main one being the generation of job opportunities for workers during the factory construction phase. 

And, on the question of the jobs that will be generated in the municipality, Mayor Allyson Bezerra highlighted that “We received ABG Mineração, which is investing in the municipality of Mossoró in the construction of a new and modern cement factory that will generate more than 1.000 jobs in the cement sector. Mossoró has a very special characteristic, we have limestone and clay here with quality and in abundance. And our limestone has a low impurity content, that is, a limestone that allows us to use it in the production of clinker and later cement.”

The finalization of the agreement between the city of Mossoró and ABG Mineração took place after the meeting between the holder of the portfolio of the Secretariat for Economic Development, Innovation and Tourism, Franklin Filgueira, the president of the Commercial and Industrial Association of Mossoró (ACIM), Nilson Brasil and the director of PROEX Engenharia LTDA, Paulo Coelho, with company representatives. Now, Mossoró is preparing to receive the new development in the coming months.
