New Cement Factory of ABG Mining Will Be Installed in the Municipality of Mossoró and Will Count on Strong Investment for Project Development

The state of Rio Grande do Norte is highly known in the Brazilian market due to its mineral reserves and raw materials for various segments of the industry, such as civil construction. Thus, ABG Mining identified a high potential for cement production in the municipality of Mossoró and announced its new investment in the region, a factory focused on the product. The company also highlighted the main objectives with the venture, profitability, and job generation.

ABG Mining also confirmed that the geographic analysis team was quite surprised by the high potential for cement production that the region possesses. Furthermore, it stated that it will be bringing even more entrepreneurs who are thinking about investing in the region after the installation of the company’s new factory. This is because the municipality of Mossoró offers good installation infrastructure for these companies, especially in terms of energy, and has become an attractive region for new ventures.

Thus, one of the companies that is already eyeing a new investment in the city after the installation of the ABG Mining cement factory is Sinoma Brazil. The company highlighted that it already has a project in the city, alongside the SEDU Group, but visited the region in person to assess the potential for a new venture in the coming months, focusing on the energy sector of the city. With the arrival of ABG Mining and a possible investment from Sinoma Brazil, Mossoró is moving towards even greater socioeconomic development in the coming years.

City Hall of Mossoró Celebrates ABG Mining’s Investment in the New Cement Factory and Highlights Job Creation for Residents

The main objective of ABG Mining with the investment in the Potiguar city is, without a doubt, the leveraging of production potential and even greater profitability. However, the company’s business will also bring a series of benefits to the city, with the main one being the generation of job opportunities for workers during the factory’s construction phase.

Regarding the jobs that will be generated in the municipality, Mayor Allyson Bezerra highlighted that “We welcomed ABG Mining, which is investing in the municipality of Mossoró in building a new and modern cement factory that will create over 1,000 jobs in the cement sector. Mossoró has a very special characteristic; we have quality limestone and clay in abundance. And our limestone has a low impurity content, meaning it is suitable for producing clinker and subsequently cement.”

The finalization of the agreement between the city hall of Mossoró and ABG Mining occurred after a meeting between the head of the Economic Development, Innovation and Tourism Secretariat, Franklin Filgueira, the president of the Commercial and Industrial Association of Mossoró (ACIM), Nilson Brasil, and the director of PROEX Engenharia LTDA, Paulo Coelho, with the company’s representatives. Now, Mossoró is getting ready to welcome the new venture in the coming months.
