The contract in question is significant for AES Union, as it represents a remarkable increase in its operations in the offshore sector.
By being entrusted with this responsibility, the company is doubling the size of the offshore fleet currently under its management.
The CEO of AES Union, Felippe Bastos, expressed his satisfaction with this achievement, emphasizing the magnitude of the task and its impact on the company’s business.
Bastos noted: “We are responsible for servicing the largest private fleet of FPSOs in Brazil, totaling 20 units owned by the largest national and international players. With the acquisition of this new contract, we doubled the amount of service to offshore assets, which is a significant mark considering the size of the companies and the assets involved”.

Company Also Plans New Base in Macaé and Strengthens Presence in the Offshore Cleaning and Maintenance Market
To support its expanding operations, AES Union is planning to establish its own base in Macaé (RJ), a strategically important area for the oil industry.
This move will require substantial investments, approximately R$ 5 million in capital expenditures, demonstrating the company’s commitment to quality and safety in operations for its clients.
In recent days, AES Union also gained attention for securing a contract with 3R Petroleum for the maintenance of the storage tanks of the Industrial Asset of Guamaré in Rio Grande do Norte.
The scope of this contract was subsequently expanded by the client, highlighting the company’s growing expertise in the oil and gas sector.
Felippe Bastos concluded with optimism: “Today, we are the company with the largest number of offshore cleaning units under contract in the country, which is growing and gaining reach with the combination of inspection and repair services and improving operational performance every day”.
The new contract between AES Union and Petrobras not only strengthens AES Union’s position in the energy market but also highlights the importance of strategic collaborations in the oil industry.
With the increase in the managed fleet, job creation, and the focus on asset integrity, this partnership promises positive results for both the companies involved and the sector as a whole.
