Offshore Specialist Technician
Responsibilities and Tasks
The Offshore Specialist Technician is responsible for offshore operations in the field. Responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to: Being responsible for all logistics of all materials used in the operation; Being responsible for the installation, removal, and commissioning of equipment; Working according to the safety standards, procedures, and policies of Aker Solutions, ensuring that the company’s values are upheld and respected.
Qualifications and Personal Qualities
Technical degrees are desired in the following areas: Mechanics, Electronics, or Electromechanics. An engineering diploma will be considered a plus. Intermediate knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. High knowledge of hydraulic systems and technical drawings. High knowledge of XMT, DPR, and offshore operations. High knowledge of electrical systems and control systems. High knowledge of vessel and platform operations. Client experience of COI. English level: Advanced.
