Ambipar's Sustainable Corridor Project will be responsible for replacing the use of non-renewable fuels with sustainable fuel in the company's fleet of vehicles, thus contributing to investment in the energy transition in its operations.
Last Monday (29/08), the services and logistics giant Ambipar announced its newest sustainability project, the Sustainable Corridor Project, for the use of sustainable fuel in the company's vehicle fleet. In addition, an investment of R$ 30 million was announced in the replacement of fuel consumption, aiming to make the energy transition an ever closer reality for the company over the coming years.
The Sustainable Corridor Project is Ambipar's new bet for the energy transition of its vehicle fleet over the next few years in the international market
The energy transition scenario in the global market is increasingly drawing attention to the adoption of more sustainable practices, including the replacement of non-renewable fuels with sustainable fuel, such as CNG.
In this way, several companies with fleets of large vehicles, such as Ambipar, are starting their sustainability projects and ESG practices over the last few months.

The company then announced the Sustainable Corridor Project which, according to Ambipar, is an important step in the fight against climate change and for fulfilling its ambition for the decade to lead the transition to a circular and low-carbon economy.
This initiative will start the company's energy transition plan in its operations and, for that, the first step will be the large-scale inclusion of CNG-powered trucks. With this decision, the transport of chemical products for Dow Chemical will be the first operation supported by this idea.
Company will invest BRL 30 million in the energy transition of its fleet of vehicles using sustainable fuel
The company Ambipar intends to make, throughout the Sustainable Corridor Project, a total investment of R$ 30 million to replace its fleet with vehicles using sustainable fuel over the next few years.
In addition, the trucks that will be delivered will have technology for the use of compressed natural gas (CNG), being the Scania R 410 6 × 2 model, thus ensuring even more efficiency in the energy transition of fuel consumption in vehicles.
Furthermore, only during the first year of circulation of the new trucks, Ambipar estimates a 20% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions in the Corridor, significantly contributing to the reduction of the environmental impacts of its fleet with the millionaire investment. In addition, the company announced that the goal is that by 2040, 100% of Ambipar's fleet should be made up of vehicles with a cleaner energy matrix, according to Hélio José Branco Matias, Director at the company.
The company's move will still be essential to resume the growth of its shares in the global financial market, since, in the last 365 days, Ambipar shares accumulated a fall of 55,7%. Now, the projections show a growth of 1096,27% in the next 12 months, thus recovering the drop in the last year.
