Caoa Chery Automaker Announces the Opening of a Second Shift and More Than 500 Job Openings at the Anápolis Plant, Where the Tiggo 5x Sport SUV Is Produced.
Caoa Chery, one of the largest current automobile manufacturers, recently announced the opening of a second production shift at its plant in Anápolis, Goiás. Thus, this measure is part of the R$ 3 billion investment plan that the company has been implementing since August of last year, aiming to expand and modernize its production capacity. To meet the production demand for the Tiggo 5x Sport, Caoa Chery will open 548 job openings.

Caoa Chery Expands Production and Creates More Jobs in Anápolis
With the second shift, Caoa Chery’s plant will produce 6,000 cars per month, a 50% increase compared to the current shift.
To this end, Caoa Chery will open 548 new job openings. The new employees will join the 809 already hired last year.

Tiggo 5x Sport Drives Growth of the Automaker and the Anápolis Plant
The main product of Caoa Chery’s factory in Anápolis is the Tiggo 5x Sport, a compact SUV that has stood out in the Brazilian market for its design, performance, and technology.
Launched in November 2020, the Tiggo 5x Sport has a suggested retail price of R$ 119,990 and comes equipped with a 1.5 turbo engine with 150 hp and a CVT transmission with 9 gears.
Additionally, the model features a 10.25-inch multimedia center, 6 airbags, stability and traction controls, among other comfort and safety items.
The model has an average fuel consumption of 8.5 km/l with ethanol and 10.7 km/l with gasoline, according to INMETRO.
