Usina Da Mata Sugar and Alcohol began a selection process this Monday, June 3, for internal and external professionals of the company. The job openings were announced through its official news outlet where the company requests professionals specialized in the following positions: Automotive Welder, Convoy Driver, and Automotive Electrician.

Automotive Welder
Requirements: Completed elementary education. Technical high school in maintenance or related fields is desirable, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in welding and manufacturing parts for agricultural and road equipment; knowledge of assembly and disassembly of agricultural implements; knowledge of hand tools: grinder, drill, etc.
Responsibilities:

- Will perform coated electrode, MIG, and MAG welding services
- Will manufacture parts for agricultural equipment (boilermaking)
- Will execute recovery, pre-assembly, assembly, and disassembly of parts, equipment, and metallic structures, pipelines, and accessories
- Will execute cold and hot forming services of metallic materials
- Will perform cold cutting of metallic materials through various processes
- Will carry out drilling, cutting, and grinding operations
- Will use boilermaking hand tools
Convoy Driver
Requirements: Advanced knowledge in fueling harvesters, tractors, and trucks; knowledge in lubrication compartments of harvesters, tractors, and trucks; advanced knowledge in the convoy implement for its use; efficient use of the convoy implement; basic knowledge of types of lubricants.
Automotive Electrician
Requirements: Completed high school. Technical course in Automotive Electric is desirable; advanced knowledge of 12/24V electrical systems in general, with a general understanding of systems and components used in everyday electrical work; knowledge of electronic injection systems; advanced knowledge of electronic components for controlling harvesters, tractors, and trucks; basic knowledge of diesel engines.
