Baker Hughes Will Support UTEs, UTGs, Refineries, Offshore Platforms and FPSOs in the Petrobras Asset Portfolio
The order, recorded in the fourth quarter of 2020 and confirmed by the American company last Friday (22), will further expand Petrobras’ capabilities in digital solutions following a request for various product lines from Baker Hughes Digital Solutions.
Baker Hughes will support Petrobras’ thermal power plants, refineries, gas treatment units, production plants, offshore platforms and floating storage and transfer units (FPSO) with its technologies, ensuring that the latest regulatory requirements are met. The order includes flare monitoring and calibration technologies, cybersecurity, and remote monitoring services and interconnected machine protection systems and sensors.

- Nexus Controls’ distributed control systems, cybersecurity services, and human-machine interface (HMI) upgrades for safer and more reliable operations.
