A survey conducted by the Japanese company Kirin Holdings revealed data that places Brazil among the largest beer consumers in the world. According to the Global Beer Consumption Report, the country ranks third in the global ranking, behind only China and the United States.
Brazil registers an annual consumption of 14,932 thousand kiloliters of beer, which is equivalent to 14.9 billion liters. This volume represents 7.8% of the entire global market.
On average, each Brazilian consumes about 69.3 liters of the beverage per year. The survey demonstrates not only the size of the national market but also the cultural value attributed to beer in the country.

Brazil follows, consolidating its position among the top three consumer markets. Mexico and Russia complete the top five, with 9,990 and 8,497 thousand kiloliters, respectively.
