The world’s widest bridge crosses the Nile River in Cairo with 12 lanes, 67 meters wide, and a colossal structure created to reduce urban bottlenecks in one of the most congested metropolises on the planet.
The hydrocarbon resins that will be presented at the event are used in the construction of tires and other products. Rubber artifacts and retreading bands also make use of them, as do hoses and shoes. The discoveries could enter various economic sectors to automate processes.
In addition to time savings, the resins have advantages such as reduced equipment wear during operation. Therefore, they can be considered tachifying agents, which improve flows.
Marlisa Reche, Director of the Olefins and Aromatics area at Braskem, claims that the institution is committed to developing sustainable alternatives for rubber production from start to finish in the supply chain. One example cited by the institution regarding sustainability is Eterno Verde, for the production of elastomers.
