Caixa Econômica Federal revealed that some people will receive, through the Caixa Tem application, a PIX of R$102 in February. In this article you can see who is entitled to this extra money.
According to Caixa Econômica Federal, people who are part of the program gas voucher They will receive, this February, a PIX of R$ 102 reais. This will be another part of the benefit, created by the federal government with the aim of helping families who are socially vulnerable and, as a result, are unable, with their own resources, to purchase cooking gas.
As mentioned, payment will be made through the Caixa Tem application, an initiative created during the Covid-19 pandemic with the aim of paying Emergency Aid. Today, however, this application is being used to pay for other government social programs such as Bolsa Família and Vale-Gás itself.
Millions of people will have access to Vale-Gás
According to Caixa Econômica Federal, this February, there will be five million Brazilian families receiving, through the Caixa Tem application, a PIX that refers to the new round of Vale-Gás payments.

When the PIX will be credited
According to information from Caixa, the PIX relating to Vale-Gás will be carried out using the same rules as the Bolsa Família Program, that is, there will be a scaling that occurs through the final digit of the Social Identification Number (NIS). Therefore, check what the payment order will be like:
- Final NIS 1 – February 16;
- Final NIS 2 – February 19;
- Final NIS 3 – February 20;
- Final NIS 4 – February 21;
- Final NIS 5 – February 22;
- Final NIS 6 – February 23;
- Final NIS 7 – February 26;
- Final NIS 8 – February 27;
- Final NIS 9 – February 28;
- Final NIS 0 – February 29th.
Am I entitled to the Gas Voucher?
Are you curious to know if you are entitled to Vale-Gás? If so, know that this benefit is aimed at those people who meet some requirements, such as, for example, being registered in the Single Registry and having a monthly family income that does not exceed half the minimum wage per person. Furthermore, to be entitled to PIX, people must receive Bolsa Família or the Continuous Payment Benefit (BPC).
PIX can be used for other things
The PIX that will be credited to the beneficiary's Caixa Tem application refers to Vale-Gás. Right? However, it is important to highlight that the person does not necessarily need to use money to purchase the item.
This is because the beneficiary, who can move the money directly through the Caixa Tem application or, if he prefers, make the withdrawal in person at Caixa Econômica Federal branches, can use this amount to pay bills, or, if he prefers, transfer this amount to other accounts.
