Carrefour Brazil has announced the opening of applications for the Affirmative Trainee Program, aimed exclusively at Black professionals. The goal of the trainee program is to create a diverse talent pool, with essential skills for the business, and accelerate the careers of these professionals in the company’s strategic areas, according to Exame’s website.
Selected candidates in the trainee program will have the opportunity to work in areas such as Sales Strategy, Marketing and Pricing, Private Label – Products, Finance – Management and Investor Relations, Digital – Marketplace and E-commerce, Property – Store Projects, Legal – Corporate Management and M&A, Supply Chain – Store Supply, and Human Resources – Inclusion and Diversity.
Requirements to Participate in the Trainee Program
To participate in the trainee program, candidates must have a completed higher education degree (bachelor’s, technology, or teaching degree) by December 2023 in courses related to the areas of activity. Additionally, it is necessary to beaBlack person (Black or Brown), have availability to start at Carrefour in May 2024, interest in working in a face-to-face or hybrid model in Barueri, SP, and previous experience in the chosen area is desirable.
